CLIMATE OF SYDNEY Sydney's climate makes it a great city to visit any time of the year as it doesn't suffer extremes of cold or heat. Sydney enjoys sunshine for most of the year and has mild winters. The summer season is from December through to February where temperatures can exceed 30 degrees Celsius and the winter months from June through to August can fall below 15 degrees Celsius.
